Here are some more pictures of my new works.
Welcome to My Living Art Garden Photo Page 3. Hope you enjoy watching my trees! Happy viewing.
My son poses with Mt. Venice ( Photo taken Dec. 2005). The huge rock was taken from Calapan City, believe it or not, during the great flood last December when we were stranded there with our mayor. The semi-cascading tree on the other hand, is a red ficus trained for almost a year.
This is my Sampaloc (Tamarind) bonsai. It is almost three years old in this picture taken January 2006. I only have two Sampaloc trees in my collection. They are harder to raise and train than the common ficus.
Little Squid Islet
This is a typical Red Ficus variety planted on a small pretty rock since 2003. However, it was transferred to this shallow pot just last December. Moss were added to enrich the landscape.
Banilad Bay
Banilad is a mountainous coastal barangay in our town. It has beautiful white sand beaches and magnificent rock formation. This red ficus was given by a resident from the area nicknamed "Bay". Hence, the name Bay connotes both the awesome bay view and the man who handed the tree. It's a newly planted tree on a self-made irregular pot.

As you can see, the trees simply go in number! In fact, I'm running out of space and time. Can't help but work on more and more trees. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get something great from them.
Hamod & Ali, my nephews from Kuwait, during their 2nd visit in the Philippines in 2007 posed with my garden in this picture. My daughter, Melorie carries Little Squid Islet.
My daughter is eight (8) years old and the tree is three (3) years old. Can't wait to see them both again after a decade.
Liliputian Queen
This tree has been in my collection since 2003. A former neighbor sold it to me. I've trained it regularly since then and never repotted it for some reasons. It's small, less than a foot in height.
Fortress, a dwarf black olive ( Bucida Spinosa). Just a year under training.

Watch out for more interesting pictures in the future. See you!
